yawning update

I have deactivated my facebook. Goodbye social life? I hope not! I did it really because I want to focus on my studies. The next 8 weeks are crucial to my getting good grades. 8 weeks is more than enough time- especially with the Easter holidays coming up.
My first 5 exams will all be within two weeks. Four science exams and a maths mechanics module. After that, I get a 2 week break before my final maths exams. Pretty neat huh. But revision starts now. Or next week, rather.

Monday saw my day out with Lily- and I bought her a birthday present (finally, but two months late!). She insists on buying me one for my upcoming birthday (although she doesn't even know when it is).
Birthday presents are such a chore, don't you think? If I receive one, I have to return the favour. It's in my nature- the way I was brought up. I hate it. I compulsively feel in debt to somebody if they get me anything. It is a horrible feeling, but I can't politely convey this to other people. Bah.

I have been rather stalker-ish and have found a certain person's twitter. My next step is to find their tumblr. As if that will ever happen! But it would be cool. I find immense happiness and enjoyment in stalking people. What a creep. I am really unhealthy...

My birthday is coming up. My brother gave me his iTouch (since he received an iPhone 4S from his girlfriend) and insists that the present for me is so great, even though it is a hand-me-down! But I am happy with it. My father is getting me a sweet new laptop: i7 dual core processor, 8mb ram, 1TB HDD, HD graphics with an actual graphics card; and many other features. That's assuming he did buy me that laptop. He says he ordered it online, so I'll get it in a few days. Or maybe he got me the slightly not-as-good Sony laptop.

Well, my thoughts have been a great conundrum over the past few days. I shouldn't discard my social life, but keeping Facebook is out of the question. It is such a waste of time. I'll just spend a bit more time in college with mates and work more at home. It also gives me the opportunity to finish up some shows and films. I watched the Godfather Part I today. It was so good. I shall watch Part II next week or so.

Goodnight!
